Google Doodle Mashup Spins Together George Ferris and Valentine's Day
George Washington Gale Ferris, Jr. was born February 14, 1859 in Galesburg, Illinois and died at the young age of 37 on November 22, 1896 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He died from yphoid fever. He invented the Ferris Wheel in June 9, 1892 or so and itGoogle's latest doodle combines two events.
