Obama holds Passover Seder at the White House
The Jewish holiday of Passover celebrates the biblical Exodus story of the Israelites' escape from slavery in Egypt to the Promised Land. According to tradition, the Israelites were in a rush and had no time to let their bread rise as they fled. ToBronfman said that he wrote his version of the Haggadah, the text that guides the Passover meal while telling the story of the Jews' exodus from Egypt, with children in mind.
